Yes, you guessed right! Fuktsallad means fruit salad. This CD contains 13 fruit songs for kids. Every song has its own mood. Ananas Jazz for example is Pineapple Jazz. Mango Tango means the same in both Swedish and English. There is a song book available with all the lyrics (still in Swedish) plus nice original paintings by David Polfeldt, and notes and chords as well. Also available as cassette. If you would like to order any of these products, please send an e-mail. There are translations made in both English (Michael Hinton) and Norwegian. These are not released yet, though.

If you are a Gentle Giant fan, coming from the Gentle Giant Home Page, you´re more than welcome. Ray Shulman plays on the original Giant-violin. He really shows off with a great solo in the song Ragtime Lime. Thanks Ray! During that solo there is a little quote from Peel The Paint. The song Tutti Frutti ends with the nice chord progression from the live version of On Reflection! I actually asked Kerry Minnear at that time if i could borrow that chord progression. He gave me the unforgettable answer: -Well Dan, chords are free aren´t they?! And then he laughed merrily. Thanks Kerry!

This CD is a must if you´re into Gentle Giant stuff. The music is sung by children mainly, arranged for and played by a symphony orchestra which is backed up by a modern rhythm section.
